Maybe it’s an awkward school photo you swore you’d never show anyone or a candid moment, blurry and off-centre. Even if you cringe at the outfit or the haircut, it brings you right back. In that moment, you don’t just see a photo, you remember how you felt. That’s the power of a picture. They can root us in a version of ourselves we’ve almost forgotten.
