Discovering your true beauty in every frame.

I design our luxury maternity photoshoots to be empowering and relaxing; a chance to take a breath and pamper yourself during the wild ride of pregnancy.

Book an in-studio session at my spacious South Surrey studio (conveniently located just outside of Vancouver). Want your maternity photos to embrace the great outdoors? I have a go-to list of stunning local location options for your outdoor maternity session, too!

Or, for even more fun and glamour .. let’s do both!

Elegant maternity photos with my maternity gown closet

I’ve worked hard to curate an extensive maternity gown collection that has something for everyone; whether you’re sweet, or daring - or just plain want to feel and look good! Looking for something more casual? Or risqué? I welcome clients bringing their own outfits, too. My main aim is to capture you feeling your best!

With that in mind, all of our luxury maternity sessions come with complimentary hair and makeup so that you feel beautiful and pampered!

Timeless maternity portraits with elegant artistic touches ... even when you may not feel your best!

Pregnancy isn’t all “empowered goddess” 24/7. It’s uncomfortable and there are a lot of changes happening all at once! I’ll be right there with you using my 25 years of experience to help you pose in the most comfortable and flattering ways. All sessions are also fully retouched in-house, so me and my team can always do a little additional TLC to make you feel your best.

Embrace this extraordinary time in your life and capture this time where you and baby are the closest.

  • The best time to take your photos is between 30 and 35 weeks. If you’re happy with the size if your bump earlier is okay. Later maternity sessions are also fine, however posing and standing for long periods may not be comfortable! I recommend contacting us at least a few weeks in advance so that I can make sure to have time on the schedule. You may also join our cancellation list.

  • As my client, you have access to our extensive gown closet! You can find our gown gallery here.

I encourage you to make appointment to try on gowns at our studio after booking your session. (Gown try-ons are 45 min max, and most clients try on 5 or 6 gowns)

When you come for your maternity gown try-on, please make sure to wear a properly fitted bra – not a sportsbra or bralette.

  • If you’d rather wear your own clothes I’m more than happy to give my input and help you decide what will look and photograph best!

Here are some tips when choosing your maternity shoot clothing if you plan on wearing your own:

    • Stick to fitted clothing or dresses that accentuate your bump - tighter at the top, flowing from the belly down. Other pregnancy clothes, while flattering in real life, tend to hide the figure and don’t translate as well in maternity photos.

    • Avoid denim, linen, or other materials that are stiff, unfitted, or wrinkle easily. (Stretch jeans are fine)

    • Avoid stripes and patterns, as they'll take the focus off you! Black, white, neutral, or rich colours are usually best.

    • No large logos or graphic tees unless it’s specifically part of your ‘look’ and has been discussed with me first.

    • Avoid materials that pill

    • Avoid super on-trend looks, as they tend to look dated very quickly.

    • Other session participants should be dressed in a similar style and coordinated with you – if your outfit is casual, then they should be casual. If your outfit is more dressed up then so should theirs.

We’ll send you more information after booking like what to bring to your maternity session and how to prep the night before.
